The Legal Bit … To make your marriage legally recognised in England or Wales, you still need to complete the legal formalities with a registrar. Most couples choose to “do the paperwork” in a short, simple appointment at their local registry office — often a few days or weeks before their big day. Alternatively, a registrar can attend your wedding venue to complete the legal part at the start of your celebration. This blends seamlessly into your personalised ceremony, giving you the best of both worlds.

How Do I Know Your Guests will LOVE Your Ceremony?
As lovely as church and registrar weddings are, couples are bound by strict rules, timings and wording. With a celebrant led wedding your guests are going to be blown away by how refreshing, original and meaningful your ceremony is, they will be talking about it for years to come!
I’m highly skilled at keeping your guests completely happy, engaged and moved. They get to hear the inside story; how you met, what attracted you to one another, heartfelt and funny memories you share and what you Iove most about one another. With me, everyone will feel the love in the air and feel absolutely privileged to be entrusted to share in your most treasured memories and the depths of the love you share.
It’s such a beautiful atmosphere and a truly encapsulating experience, that’s really meaningful and heart-warming for everyone present. Maybe you’d like to involve your guests in some way or provide important roles for those extra special people. Perhaps you’d love to include your beloved pet (I adore animals, so I’m the first in line for cuddles!). I have lots of ideas to inspire you.
What Do I Provide?
Your Package:
My Wedding fee is £420. This includes:

Your pre-wedding meeting to discuss the content of your script, the running of the day, special people involved, ideas for readings and more.

The writing and continual editing of your script until it’s exactly as you want it.

There is a £50 booking fee to save the date, which is deducted from the total.
Unlimited Consultation
I offer a completely personal, professional and friendly service. I’m available to chat through ideas, vows, readings, rituals and anything else you might need, so that you feel completely confident and prepared. We will meet up around 6 months before your wedding day, where I will get to know you as a couple and find out all about your journey together - your love story. It’s such a gorgeous session, where I will guide you in reminiscing on the most cherished memories you share! I discover your personalities and values, your ideas and preferences. I provide as much or as little inspiration as you’d like, helping you to decide on what the perfect ceremony looks like for you!

Useful Information for Your Celebrant-Led Wedding Planning
It’s a great opportunity to share music that is really meaningful to you both, whether it’s live or recorded, it really helps to set the tone. There’s something extra moving about live music, if that’s an option for you. From a singer with a piano, to a guitarist, a violinist, or even a harpist, it creates a really lovely, romantic atmosphere. It always goes down a treat when there’s a surprise for your guests too, like a live performance from a guest or a sing-along moment, if that’s something you’d like! Remember there are no rules, so feel free to break traditions and go for options that reflect you and your partner! Your musical choices can be anything from really romantic and moving to totally fun, unexpected selections that are full of personality, like playing an original version of “You’re the One That I Want” from Greece, a modern classic like "Marry You" by Bruno Mars or an unexpected sing-along to "All You Need Is Love" by The Beatles! Most often it’s 3 pieces of music you will want, one for your entrance, the signing of your certificate and then your big finale!
Most couples tend to have two or three readings interspersed throughout their ceremony and this is a perfect opportunity to involve those extra special people in your day. There are endless possibilities for stunning readings – it’s all about selecting those that hold special meaning to you both! Maybe you have a special poem in mind, song lyrics that connect with you, an excerpt from a meaningful book, a special guest may offer or be invited to write their own words, dialogue from a special film can work really well, if you’d like to include a religious aspect, you might like to include a special prayer – the sky really is the limit. I have so many recommendations – I’m here to help you find the best options for you!

From sand ceremonies to hand-fasting – there are so many variations - some provide a very meaningful keepsake – you can even get creative and create your very own! How Long Will Our Ceremony Last?
Normally they are between 20-30 minutes, depending on your preference and whether or not you are having a registrar conduct the legal side as part of your ceremony. Your wish is my command! I can make yours as long or as short as you’d like, and I can most certainly advise on what’s best to keep everyone engaged and happy!
Can We include Religious, Spiritual and Cultural Aspects in Our Ceremony?
Yes, you can absolutely include spiritual, religious and cultural aspects in your ceremony should you wish! Maybe you hope to include elements that recognise different traditions and or embrace the bringing together of different faiths. You have the freedom to incorporate anything that’s significant to you, so you can have as many or as little of these features as your heart desires!
